Who we are

TAHERI is a family jewellery house in Karachi, making and selling gold and diamond jewellery since 1989. Pieces are made at our own bench and sold at our own counter, and the counter answers on WhatsApp. You will also find us as Taheri Collections, on Instagram and on Google Maps.

What we make

Over 2,300 pieces are photographed on this site, each on its own page with its weight:

• Rings & bands — gold rings, diamond rings, classic bands and palladium bands for men.
• Wristwear — bangles, karay, bracelets, diamond bangles and bangle-and-ring designs.
• Chains & lockets — gold chains, lockets, taweez, takhti and contemporary pendants.
• Sets — gold, diamond, stone, string and locket sets for weddings, celebrations and everyday wear.
• Earrings — tops, baali, jhumki and diamond designs.
• Diamond — certified diamond rings, bangles, bracelets, sets and tops.
• Investment pieces — wearable 22k gold with no making and no wastage charges.

How a piece is priced

A piece is priced from its weight at that day's gold rate, plus the making of the piece. Where a piece on the site shows a price, that is today's, and it can be ordered online: we confirm every order on WhatsApp before anything is paid (how to pay). Otherwise send the design on WhatsApp to +92 335 2275553 and the counter quotes today's price. Investment pieces are priced at weight and rate alone.

What we stand behind

Every diamond piece comes with its certificate, and every diamond ring is set in 18k gold. Everything else is 21k gold unless its page says otherwise; investment pieces are 22k. At the counter you can pay in cash or by bank transfer; online orders are paid by bank transfer only, in Pakistani Rupees.

Made to your drawing

Bring a drawing, a photograph, or a piece of ours you would like changed, and we make it at our own bench. Weight, metal, stones and making are agreed before anything is begun; most pieces take two to four weeks, and you see the piece before you take it. Start a custom piece.

The counter is in Karachi, open Saturday to Thursday from 11:00 to 21:00 and on Friday from 15:30 to 20:00. Message ahead with the design you want to see so it is ready when you arrive. More practical answers are in the questions and answers.
