Terms of sale
The terms on which we sell at taheri.shop, written to be read. Last updated 4 October 2026.
Who we are
TAHERI (Taheri Collections) is a family jewellery house in Karachi, Pakistan, making and selling gold and diamond jewellery since 1989. "We" and "us" are TAHERI; "you" are the person placing the order. These terms apply to orders placed on taheri.shop.
The pieces
Every piece is made at our own bench. Everything is 21k gold unless its page says otherwise. Every diamond ring is 18k gold. Palladium bands are palladium, set with diamonds. Investment pieces are 22k. Our diamonds are natural, and every diamond piece comes with its certificate.
Because each piece is made by hand, the one made for you may differ a little from the photograph, and a little in weight (see Making and weight).
Prices and the day's rate
A piece's price is worked out from its weight at that day's gold rate, plus its making. The price on the site is today's. Investment pieces are priced at weight and rate alone, with no making and no wastage. Prices are in Pakistani Rupees; delivery is shown separately in your bag and at checkout.
Ordering
Where a piece shows a price and Add to bag, you can order it on the site. Anything else — a diamond enquiry, The Maisons, a piece without a weight on its page — is asked about on WhatsApp.
Placing an order is a request, not a sale. We confirm every online order on WhatsApp during shop hours, checking the design, the size and the date it can be ready. Your order is agreed when we confirm it. If we cannot make a piece, we tell you, and nothing is owed.
An account is optional. Signing in with Google keeps your favourites and lists your orders, but you never need it to order.
Payment
Once we confirm your order, we send our bank details on WhatsApp from +92 335 2275553. Payment is by bank transfer only, the full amount in advance. We do not take cash on delivery, cards or wallets for online orders.
The account title will always read Taheri Collections. We will never ask you to pay into any other account, or by any other route. If anyone does, it is not us: don't pay, and tell us. Our bank details come only on WhatsApp, from +92 335 2275553.

The 24-hour hold
Gold moves daily, so the confirmed price is held for 24 hours for your transfer. An order not paid within the 24 hours lapses, and nothing is owed. You can place it again at that day's rate.
Making and weight
Work begins when your transfer clears. Most pieces take two to four weeks; we give you the date when we confirm your order, and if anything delays it we tell you on WhatsApp.
Handmade pieces vary a little in weight. Your order is for the weight shown. If the finished piece weighs differently, the difference is settled at the rate on your order, either way, before it is sent. We tell you first.
Delivery
We deliver across Pakistan by Leopards courier, tracked. Delivery is Rs 500, and free on orders over Rs 300,000. When your piece leaves the shop we send the tracking number on WhatsApp; delivery usually takes two to five working days after dispatch. Someone must receive the parcel and sign for it; check its seal before signing. You can also collect from the counter in Karachi — arrange it on WhatsApp. For orders from outside Pakistan, ask on WhatsApp. More on Delivery.
Until your parcel is delivered, it is our responsibility. It becomes yours to look after once it is signed for, or collected from the counter.
Cancellation
- Before you pay: free, any time.
- After you pay, before work begins: ask us on WhatsApp the same day.
- Once work has begun on a made-to-order piece, it cannot be cancelled for a refund.
If something is wrong
If your piece arrives damaged, or is not what you ordered, tell us on WhatsApp within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs; a video of the parcel being opened helps. We will repair it, remake it or refund you — our choice, depending on the fault.
Exchange, buy-back and resizing
Gold from TAHERI is taken back at the counter by the weight of its gold, at that day's rate, against its invoice. Making, wastage and stones are not returned, and the counter tells you the figure before anything is agreed. For diamonds, ask the counter; the certificate is needed. The law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, and the courts at Karachi have jurisdiction. Nothing in them takes away a right the law gives you as a customer.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version is posted here with its date. The version on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to it.
